Ducts are often partly or completely insulated. As a duct can be hundreds of meters long and have a diameter of several meters it’s important to properly dimension the duct supports already at the construction phase to optimize stability.
Extreme installations
We have installed our stacks and ducts in all types of industries where the circumstances require durable composite materials. One of our most demanding installation projects was installation of a new stack (133 m high), inside an existing chimney and a connecting duct (270 m long and 3,5 m wide) from the stack to a scrubber.
